Change can come a little at a Time

What a weekend. It was a good one. Church today was Divine! Had dinner, had my cup of coffee, the house is quiet and I am relaxing watching a Christmas movie, yes Christmas, we don't let it go that easy in our home. The Joy lingers a little longer than the world chooses to entertain it. I am trying to talk myself into taking down the tree in the dinning room. LOL Until then I am going to enjoy this last week before my home is empty of its holiday centerpiece. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I took a chance and found some goodies this weekend. You know me I love a bargain. I might be nicknamed the "Haggler" lol because I know how to claim and walk away with a deal. Although I have a working gas fireplace that I just choose for personal reasons not to use I purchased a mini electric Fireplace and I love it. Seems that a lot of Ladies in my decorating group on Facebook also have them and we all seem to love them. No wood to chop, no ventilation needed, no clean up just a warm comfortable look for your living, bed, or family rooms. I also did a little thrifting and found a few goodies at deep deep discounts but all in all it was a great weekend and I thank God for it all. Remember this old glasses. I got them for 25 cents each. Retailed $86 I talked the guy down from the $22 tag he had on it which was already a deal in itself to only paying #5.50 for it. Is that a deal of what, he is made by Lenox. That is Melchior one of the magi that came bearing gifts.
