
1 pound box of Macaroni noodles
1/4 stick of softened butter
salt to taste
1 small can of cheese sauce
4 10 oz blocks of extra sharp cheddar cheese (Cracker Barrel)
1 can of carnation milk
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add 1 pound box of macaroni noodles and a couple of pinches of salt to the boiling water. When pasta becomes tender, drain and put back in the pot. Mix in a couple of pats of butter and 3 blocks of grated of the extra sharp cheddar cheese, the one small can of cheese sauce, and carnation milk to your mixture until it reaches its desired creaminess.
Once all the cheese has melted and the mixture of macaroni, cheese, cheese sauce, butter, and milk has reached your desired creamy texture pour into a casserole dish and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. The last five minutes of cooking time pull out your casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining block of grated extra sharp cheddar cheese over the top and place your macaroni under the broiler to get a desired brown crust on top.
