New Year, New Decade

Welcome 2020, I am so grateful to still be here. What a turning point it was the night of December 31, 2019. Moving forward by the Grace of God we all left behind many things from 2001-2019. A new decade dawned upon us January 1, 2020. In the scope of those ten years many lives changed, some good things and some bad things have transpired but all in all they are left behind in the last decade, some remain a memory and some we would soon forget because we are moving forward in life and trying to live the best we know how. All in all we are grateful to still be here, another day, another chance to do better and make a difference in our life and the lives of others.

Christmas 2019 was FANTASTIC! This Country Living Grandma was grateful to have all her family around her for the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday. There was lots of food and so much joy that filled the inner walls of my home. To God be the Glory, I am grateful for the new set of memories that are still fresh in my mind from these two gatherings. I am looking forward to the Holidays to roll around again this year. 90% of my Christmas decor has been put away and some Valentine decor is now displayed where Christmas was displayed for the past two months. Christmas is my favorite time of year and I am always emotional to see it come and go so quickly. It seems like the world cant wait to box it back up and put it away for another 10 months but until then we countdown to Christmas 2020. I enjoyed all the Hallmark Christmas movies from October 25-January 5th. My tv stayed on the three Hallmark Channels.

As we continue on through the first month of our new decade may your home and life be filled with love and may you and your family stay safe here in the earth. We are living in perilous times and we need to stick together, pray and look out for one another.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another... John 13:34

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing...1 Peter 3:8-9

Thank you for stopping by,
Peace and Blessings,
Country Living Grandma
