Thanksgiving is a Memory...time passes too quickly sometimes

As we come to the close of another month we leave behind the initial excitement of the Holiday Season arriving. Thanksgiving preparations, food shopping and all the cooking has been completed and the leftovers finished, next holiday: Christmas. As all the years prior Thanksgiving was a time of family gathering and joy. I thank God for another United day of Thanks with those I love. I am grateful as I am everyday for so much. It was a joy to turn my home into a Holiday Winter Wonderland a few weeks before Thanksgiving and be able to enjoy all the lights everyday while watching all the Hallmark Christmas movies counting the days til we would all gather. I love Christmas and I love decorating and making things pretty but that's not all of what I am about. I like showing and sharing love and making people happy. I love family and family gatherings and just enjoying life each day God allows me to. Had someone asked me what I am grateful for I would say: Life, Love and family. I am grateful for all those who love and care about me. I am grateful for friends who love me just the way I am. I hope everyone has a safe, healthy and happy Holiday Season. Love one another and cherish every moment. Make lasting memories that you can look back on and smile about. Life is short and there are no do overs once the book of your life is closed. Thank God for what is and what is not and don't take anything for granted especially this life that God has given you. Use your time wisely and be the change you want to see in your family, your circle of friends and in the world. Just remember to be grateful no matter what. Don't worry about what others may have verses what you have just be grateful for what God is allowing you to have because whether you know it or not you are blessed! I hope the world is still standing this time next year in peace and well are all happy healthy and safe and I can make another blog entry about Thanksgiving 2018.
