Memorial Day Weekend 2017

I have added a post to my blog since the last day of last year.
2017 ushered in on the heels of various life changes for me. God is good and He is able. I am still a country girl at heart with big dreams and faith that I will have all God wants me to have.

A month ago God blessed me with a new beginning. Never say never, never say I wont have, never say I cant go on because you can do all things through Christ who will give you the strength to do so. Twenty months ago I went from living in a house that I made into a home for my family and I to living in a apartment. It was definitely a life changing experience, one I never saw coming.

Last month God blessed me with a new house. I celebrated the Holy day in which we remember the death and rising of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Christmas and tomorrow we will be observing Memorial day remembering those who served and lost their lives for the fight for freedom in our Country. For many its just a three day weekend and time to BBQ not that there is anything wrong with a 3 day weekend or BBQ just don't forget that there are many grieving from state to state and city to city because someone they love is no longer physically with us while serving for rights on our behalf. A moment of silence would be nice to remember them.

On the note of the blessing of my new home. I look forward with anticipation all the new memories that will be created in this home he has given me and I pray that He allows me many many more years here. I am grateful to have a place where my family can come visit and we can continue to share holidays and special gatherings here.

Have a blessed day and keep believing in God and thank him daily for all that he has done, all that he is doing, and even those things you haven't seen manifested in your life yet. he is worthy to be praised!

Peace and Blessings,
Country Living Grandma
