The day after Christmas

The 26th of December doesn't have to be the end of the spirit of Christmas. For most it will be, after the lights have dimmed and the stores have moved on to the next holiday. Yes, tv viewing will change which breaks my heart most because tv has become a bucket of filth to a certain degree. The most I watch tv out of the 12 months of the year is November and December besides a few Christmas shows I may catch here and there on the tv guide line up during other months. Ask my Family, my DVR and Bluray is always playing Christmas all year round. Yes, I will truly miss the beauty of the city, the love in the air, smiling faces and the joy that seems to blanket the city. I hate that the switch shuts off on the 26th. Why cant the switch stay on. It's not just about money, gifts, and bright colored lights, Love should be our covering at all times not just around the holidays. Not that the holidays cut off everything else in the world going on around us but it seems to sort of put an extra measure of love in the air. I wish more hearts could carry that joy continuously after the fanfare of the holidays have ceased. One of the reasons I love this group is we can do so if its just us. Yes, many will leave or not be active in the group because as with the holidays leaving so will the feeling for it. I am not condemning them. I believe amongst our crew the level of love for Christmas varies from faint to frenzy lol. Some may think some of us are a little NUTS LOL for continuing to talk about, dream of and long for it's return. I get giddy just thinking about if it's the Lord's will we will be doing this all again in a few shorts months because time seems to pass so fast now days. Christmas Lovers continue to enjoy this holiday season and try not to be sad, let us be an example of keeping the Christmas spirit even when the spirit has left the corners of the world. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
