Mother's Day

The view from the top floor of the mall built partially over the ocean. I would sit here for hours watching the waves come in while listening to music.

The door that leads to the deck on the top floor of the mall if you want to enjoy the view outdoors. There were wooden beach chairs outside as well to sit in which I did and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.


I hope everybody had a beautiful Mother's Day this past Sunday. I know I did spending the day with my kids. I had an even greater time with my mom Tuesday-Thursday when we took our annual trip to the Jersey Shore. Three days of relaxation, fine food, and time together. The weather was great. It was nice to sit on the 3rd floor deck of the mall and overlook the ocean while listening to music on my ipod. My daughter treated me to a pedicure the day before I left on Monday. She was going to pay for my hair to be colored at the beauty salon but she had just permed it the week before so it was too early for them to do it. The weekend of Mother's day I found some great deals on clothing at the Avenue so I had some new things to pack for my trip unexpectedly. All in all mom and I had another blessed mini getaway. Thank you God for our traveling mercies, safe lodging, and the time we shared.
