What You Need:
Fabric scraps in a variety of colors
Florist wire or over the door wreath hanger
wire wreath base
Scissors
Grab a couple of fabric samples from your local craft store or some if you have them lying around the house.
Cut your fabric scraps into pieces that are approximately 12-inches long and 1-inch wide.
Take your wire wreath base and begin attaching the fabric scraps by tieing the strips to the base in a single knot so that you have an equal length of fabric on either side of the wreath base. Repeat this untill the entire wire base is covered in fabric.
Hang, and enjoy.
For a built in hanging hook, simply loop a piece of florist wire o the back of the wire wreath base and hang it wherever you want. If you chose to hang it on a door simply hang it up with an over the door wreath hanger and no wire loops needs to be attached.
These wreath project is an easy no sew craft that can be used with whatever fabric you desire to create the wreath you want for whatever holiday or occasion.
Note: You can find wire wreath bases at Michaels or AC Moore, I happened to find one at a local thrift shop for 50 cent, It is a green double wreath base.
