It's a cold crisp morning today, puts me more in a Christmasy mood. I am glad I have some of my decorations for the Holidays already up because this weather helps me enjoy them more. Our transit service is still on strike which leaves me at a standstill temporarily. I would like to be out Christmas shopping or at least taking in some sites but I will have to at least wait til next Friday when I can arrange a ride to go certain places if by then Septa has not settled and ended this strike and our buses get rolling again. I miss going to the thrift stores and seeing what they have out early, some of the stores in our area have some nice stuff in excellent condition. It makes me wonder why the owners would give it away, but then again another person's give away can be another person's treasured find.
Hard to believe that Thanksgiving is less than three weeks away. Three weeks from today will be Black Friday and everybody will be out and about taking advantage of all the discounts. Meanwhile we just countdown until Christmas which is 49 days away. I am about to watch a Christmas movie and enjoy my solitude, everyone else in the house is still sleep. Right now I am watching Golden Girls which is one of my favorite shows. It has become a morning tradition to watch them from 9-11 am at which time I turn to the Price is Right and follow it up with the 12 o'clock news and the Young and the restless at 12:30, lol. Each day isn't always mapped out like this for I have other duties to attend to from time to time. Well off to laugh @ Sophia, Rose, Dorothy, and Blanche. Enjoy your day ladies.
I hope our warm weather is coming your way. It's been just glorious here with temps in the 60's and this weekend looking forward to 70's. Like you I too enjoy Golden Girls. I don't get to see it too often, but do enjoy their outlooks on life. Your house looks great with all you decorations out.
