More Snow on New Years Eve 2009

I am gonna miss 2009 but I welcome 2010. My reason for missing 2009 is because many things happened in this year. My first grandchild was born. We shared all our first with him this year, vacation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. The only sad part of 2009 I don't want to remember is losing my last surviving grandparent but I look forward to living each day of 2010 by the grace of God under his lead. 2010 will Lord willing bring our grandson's first birthday and our second vacation with him, etc. I wish everyone a joyous time of bringing in the new year with your family and friends and I also wish for you good health, prosperity, and peace within your homes and neighborhoods.

Two days after Christmas

My precious duckie!

Izaiah trying to get into grandma's candy stash.
Izaiah shocked to find out that grandma keeps the decorations up til mid December.

Izaiah is still enjoying himself two days later. He will be for a while because Grandma don't take down the decorations until like the second week in January.

What a blessing it was to spend another Christmas with my family. It was the first Christmas for my 10 month old grandson. He was so overwhelmed he didn't know what to touch or what to play with. We woke up around 8 am and finished unwrapping everything and video taping around 10:30 am. When we finished cleaning up we had breakfast and called other family members to wish them a Merry Christmas. I made most of my Christmas dinner last night minus the stuffing greens and mac and cheese. I made the stuffing a little while ago and cut up the cranberry sauce. In a few I will heat up the greens and my daughter will prepare the mac and cheese and we can have dinner around 5pm. I am just grateful for this Christmas with my family and I am grateful that Christ came in the flesh thousands of years ago born of a virgin in Bethlehem to save me a sinner. It is only by his grace that I am saved and I thank him. Jesus I celebrate you today and everyday.

Celebrate Jesus!

As the celebration of the birth of Christ approaches tomorrow I encourage you even more to keep your mind focused on Jesus. Let it be a time of reflection that Jesus (I said JESUS) willingly left glory to come down here IN THE FLESH to save a world full of people destined to DIE. All our HOPE and our SALVATION rests on Jesus, who is and always will be the "only" SAVIOR of MEN! Be sure you are following the right MASTER!! If you are unsure get on your knees and ask God to show you plainly who HE is and join me/us in Worshiping the true King of Kings and Lord of Lords this Holiday Season....
